Accommodation
Owner’s Suite – Deck 7. Spacious two-room suite (approx. 32 sqm) located on Deck 7, just below the bridge, with separate lounge and bedroom. The windows facing forward (usually unobstructed views)and aft, twin bed (approx. 90x200cm). The cabin is carpeted and the sitting room features a sofa, 2 chairs, coffee table, a writing desk with chair, shelves and a refrigerator. TV/DVD player and a small audio unit with CD player/AM/FM radio is in the lounge.
The windows in the bedroom face aft and has a partly obstructed view by the funnel.
The bedroom has a bedside shelf, cabinet, wardrobe and a chest of drawers and has shower/toilet.
Towels and bed linen is provided and a steward attends to the cabins, which are cleaned weekly and are air conditioned.
Facilities

Passengers share lounge and dining room with the ship’s officers. TV/video player (limited selection) is located in the officer’s lounge on 1st Deck. Deck chairs are provided for use by the passengers – unfortunately this ship does have a pool. A laundry with dryer is available to passengers.
This ship does not have a lift – passengers must be able to negotiate stairs because the accommodation and public facilities are spread over several decks. Voltage is 220V and you will need European plugs. Currency on board is US dollars cash only – no credit cards or Travellers cheques can be used to pay for phone use or alcohol purchases etc.

Cancellation by the passenger for any reason is subject to the following cancellation charges:
Freighter Expeditions charge AUD$250.00 per person
Shipping Company
- up to 120 days prior to departure Euro 100 per person
- up to 60 days prior to departure 15% of the fare but no less than Euro 100
- up to 30 days prior to departure 50% of the fare
- up to 7 days prior to departure 65% of the fare
- Withdrawal from the contract at a later point in time or failure to appear in time for the sailing - 95%
- No refund once the voyage has commenced or for disembarking earlier.
You must have comprehensive Travel Insurance which will include cancellation cover due to medical, family crisis and other substantial reasons not to travel.
